Welcome

Eglinton Presbyterian Church was established in its present position in November 1938, when the then Eglinton Street congregation moved from Carlisle Circus to the Carrs Glen area of North Belfast. In 1968 the Ballysillan Road site was developed to include additional ancilliary halls and a new building to house worship on Sunday. The suite of buildings occupy a prominent position beside the Boys Model School, opposite the Carrs Glen bus terminus.

Worship

Each Sunday, services are held at 11.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m.
In the morning we meet in the main church building, and in the evening, when numbers are smaller in one of the church halls.
Occasional evening services are also held in the main church building.

Evening services are less formal than in the morning and are followed by a cup of tea or coffee and a chance for a chat.

An induction Loop (AFILS) is provided in the main church building for the benefit of Hearing Aid Users.

Communion
Communion services are held on eight occasions during the year:
at morning service on the first Sunday of January, April and October and the last Sunday morning in June.
at evening service on the second Sunday of February, May, September and the third Sunday evening in November.

Baptism
Baptism in the Presbyterian Church is offered to those who profess their faith in Christ and the infant children of those who profess such faith. There will be preparation prior to Baptism.
