Weekly Programme

All of these activities are also open to those who are not members of Eglinton.

Sunday School -
As well as the creche on a Sunday morning during the service, there are two Sunday Schools:
Morning: the children come with their parents to the beginning of the service and then leave for Sunday school later on.
Afternoon: J.A.M.(Jesus and Me) meets from 2.30 p.m - 3.15 p.m. each Sunday.
The Sunday Schools exist to teach children the Christian faith and nurture them in that faith through Bible teaching, friendship, singing and other activities.

Boys Brigade
Anchor Boys: for boys aged 6 - 8 (P.2 - P.4) and meets each Monday from
6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.
Junior Section: for boys aged 9 - 11 (P.5 - P.7) and meets each Wednesday from 7.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
Company Section: for boys aged 12 - 18 years old and meets on Monday and Wednesday evenings and on Sunday mornings.
(8.00 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, 10.15 a.m. Sunday)

Girls Brigade
All groups meet on Thursday evenings.
Ladybirds: (3 - 4 years) 6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.
Explorers: (5 - 7 years) 6.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.
Juniors: (8 - 10 years) 7.00 p.m. - 8.15 p.m.
Seniors: (11 - 13 years) 7.30 p.m. - 9.00 p.m.
Brigaders: (14 - 18 years) 7.30 p.m. - 9.15 p.m.

Youth Club (12 - 18 year olds)
Each Friday night from 7.30 p.m. - 10.00 p.m.
Offers a variety of sports and activities, computer games, food and a chance to think about the Christian faith.

Youth Fellowship (12 - 18 year olds)
8.15 p.m. on Sunday nights.
Issues affecting the lives and faith of young people are discussed and debated.

Mother and Toddler GROUP
Meets on Wednesdays from 10.00 a.m. - 12 noon.
(For ‘mother’ also read father, grandfather, grandmother, baby minder etc....)
A chance for the adults to chat, the children to play and everyone to enjoy light refreshments.

Presbyterian Women’s Association
Meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at 7.45 p.m. (September - March).
Friendship, fellowship and a chance to support and encourage the wider work of the church.

Senior Citizens Club
Meets alternate Tuesdays at 2.00 p.m.

Ladies Bowling
Monday and Wednesday at 1.30 p.m.

Mens Bowling
Monday and Wednesday at 7.30 p.m.

Praise, worship, fellowship & discipleship

Open to God
Each Thursday, from 7.15 p.m. - 8.30 p.m.
We meet for fellowship, Bible Study, praise and prayer. At times we have others come
to share about some wider aspect of the mission of the church or to help us think through difficult or even controversial issues facing Christians today.

Church Choir
Choir practices are held on Thursdays at 8.30 p.m.

Praise Group
Praise group practices on Wednesdays at 8.00 p.m.
